19????

In exactly 10 days, I will be 19 years old.
It would have been a lot cooler to have been born on Halloween rather than around Thanksgiving (last year my birthday was actually ON Thanksgiving), but I'll take whatever holiday I can get.

I bought beads today so I can start making bracelets for people's Christmas presents (or for myself, hmm.)
I also bought a new container for my bangles. I have this three-drawered container I've been keeping my bracelets in, but my bangles outgrew the top drawer, so it fell out and I just kind of left it there. And the box I'd been keeping my beaded necklaces in also became too small for my necklace population (I know I have a problem, shut up :P) so I put the necklaces in the bangle drawer and the bangles in the new container. Now I have room for new ones, and that makes me happy.

Also, I lost weight (although it's probably just the fact that I've been using an old bathroom scale and the scale at Publix {The best grocery chain IN THE WORLD} and have been thinking I'm about five pounds more than I actually am.)
But Andrea has been asking me to make her a bracelet for MONTHS so I finally bought beads for an Andrea-specific bracelet I might make tonight. It's an odd combination: dusty rose pink hearts with antique-looking flowers on them and white shell beads. I can't help it; both seemed like they'd go well with her personality and they'll probably go well with multiple outfits, so we'll see how that turns out. I know shells and antique hearts don't seem like they'll make a harmonious bracelet, but oh well. :)

That's all I have to say today; goodnight.

The other day Boyfriend, Father, Mother, and I went to the Florida International Museum's Beatles exhibit.
While it was kind of lame, they had good merchandise. I got 5 pins. (There may have been more- one or two may be lost in my purse.) I have to find the two Pinky once gave me (speaking of Pinky, I had a dream about her... we had a sleepover. It was interesting) but I'm pretty sure I know where they are. I have one that says "hottie" (lmao) and my honor roll pin and a silver American flag pin. All these pins make me want to collect more. Oh yeah, Pinky also gave me an Imagine pin once, I have that one here too. :)
Anyway, I want to expand my collection (possibly by making my own.)
Anyone have any ideas on where they sell buttons/pins?
I've been making bracelets like a crazy woman lately... it's just so relaxing, I guess.
This year I'll be making many more crafty items... maybe one day I'll get a job doing stuff like this, who knows?
OH, and I'm going to try making my own lipgloss, and I'd like to put it in an Altoids tin. Anybody have one to donate? Or one from a similar candy? I'd appreciate it. <33 (And also, while I'm being shameless, if anyone wants to donate any old pins to my collection, I'd also appreciate that. And anyone with old ticket stubs, including those little ADMIT ONE things, I collect those, too.)

Sleep well.

I went out and spent some of my birthday money today (the rest of any money I have is going to college expenses) and I'm pleased with what I bought. I also went shopping last night.
I don't really like shopping. The sound you just heard was 293772327 thousand women simultaneously dropping into a dead faint, but it's the truth. I don't like looking at things I can't have, and I don't like looking at things I can have and I don't want, and I hate trying things on, and I hate looking at skinny models, and I hate temptation, and I hate shopping for other people when I can't figure out what to get them.
I can't stand bumping into people, and I can't stand waiting on lines.
It's worth it when I get stuff though. :) Last night I bought two bracelets from Claire's with the last of my gift card from last year (What? I hold on to my money, lol). Today I got two from some store called "Rainbow" and another one from the dollar store (one day I'll take a picture of all of my bracelets, so you can see why I need some sort of pyschiatric help.) I got a new pair of jeans (they came with a belt, too) and a Beatles shirt. I also bought the presents for El Boyfriend, which was the point of these two shopping trips.
I just wanted to talk about my new bracelets. I also made two new ones.
Oh, and I got sea-green fishnets.
K, end of extremely pointless entry. :)

Well, maybe not "won", maybe like, came in second. Or third.
Yes, I came in third at life today... meaning Saturday. Curse my late-night update habits.

My mother took me shopping today, and while shopping is not a hobby of mine, nor do I particularly look forward to it, it wasn't that bad.

I get to make my own bracelets now! Those of you who know me in real life know that I love, love, LOVE bracelets, and that even though I have a HUGE collection of them, I love getting new ones. But I obviously don't have the money for that- no job and no allowence. I don't WANT a job, nor do I expect my parents to fork over money for no good reason, so I'm kind of in a pickle as to what to do about my I-need-new-bracelets situation. But today I remembered how I had an idea for a good bracelet- all I'd need was the spool off of some ribbon I have. And there was also another spool which, after I broke the plastic part, yeilded a cardboard piece that was just the PERFECT size for a bracelet. The shirt I got on sale today came with TWO stickers, so I stuck them (with some tape) onto the cardboard piece, and then put a starburst wrapper in the space the stickers didn't cover. It looks cool, but the tape isn't sticking. Anyway, I still have the first spool I can use, and my mother will have tons for me to make bracelets with *W00000T* since she works for a children's clothing store and makes a lot of bows.

So there you go: I get to have life MY way- no money, yet lots of bracelets. <3333

On the bad side, today (well, since it's 2:43 AM it's today now) is September 11th, so moment of silence.

Plus I have a headache the size of freaking ALASKA, which is bigger than Texas.
